A semester of researching, content mapping, wireframing, and prototyping culminated in these screens for CDES 2302. I was assigned Citymapper, a mapping app centered around public transit, to analyze and refine. At first it was hard to find much that could be improved upon, but despite their cohesive and appealing branding, there were some features that needed to be revised or even brought in from scratch. I simplified the home, settings, and transport options pages slightly, and proposed a few new features: tutorials, profiles, fares, and reports. Once the layout and content were solid, I created a new set of simple, friendly, light-hearted icons for the features on each screen to pair with Citymapper's existing branding, color scheme, and typefaces. The final set of screens pictured show the app in action, with buttons and toggles highlighted in different colors to indicate that they've been selected.
